43rd Annual Lilac Handball

On November 6-8 the Spokane Club hosted 70 players from all over the Northwest for this year’s 43rd Annual Lilac Handball Tournament.
The Club’s own Jay Balkenbush continued his dominance of the Open Singles division by beating Dan Murphy. Junior member Connor Smith placed 2nd in the C Singles division just being edged by his opponent Adrian Pearce in 11-9 tie breaker. Spectators were treated to several great matches in the Open Singles, Men’s Open Doubles and C Singles as well as other divisions throughout the tournament.
Thanks to everyone who attended, to all who were able to help with referee duties, and to the United States Handball Association for their support. Thank you for making this year’s Lilac Handball Tournament a success! We’ll hope to see you all next year!
