2009 PNW Regionals

Results from the Pacific Northwest Tournament Hosted by Club Green Meadows in Vancouver, Washington

On May 1st, 2nd and 3rd a 120 players competed in the PNW Handball championships.

Men's Open singles was dominated by Sean Lenning, taking first place by defeating Joh Hohol. Spectators enjoyed watching this final match as demonstrated
by their extended period of applause and cheers.

Sean Lenning and his partner Mike Ewing prevailed over Tim Dean and Chance Wachholz in the Men's Open Doubles. Oregon's Dean and Montana's Wachholz got
together on the telephone to arrange to play as partners only three days prior to the event, and took the score to 19, 19 in a great match..

Woman's Open Singles play saw Jean Kasamoto win the round-robin event. Later, Kasamoto teamed with Heather Murbach to win the Women's Open Doubles round-robin.
The final match paired Kasamoto and Murbach with LeaAnn Martin and Missy Mitchell in a long, crowd-pleasing battle to take the bracket. The complete results for the tournament are as follows:
